After wash and claying..Swirl City!!

Scrubbed and scrubbed and the white buildup is still there..

This trim had the same build up.. White swirls. LA's Totally Awesome and a microfiber worked best here.

As it sits now.. I'm pooped..working 3rd shift this week.. :(

Any advice on the black trim??

Need plan for future attack on the swirls..

Thanks in advance!!

Great work on that volvo as for the trim clean it with all purpose cleaner or soap, and apply a trim dressing you have on hand or a product like adams vrt

what products do you have and what tools do you have to attack the swirls? example, pads and polishers? compounds and polish?

You can fix the trim one of two ways:
1: Buy a die for trim, then maintain it with a dressing.
2: Buy a trim restorer. That will make it look like new.
Ex: Black wow or GTechniq sold on AG.

I have some Meg's trim restorer, I tried it a little in the front. Didn't really do much at all.

So I reverted back to wiping with LA's Totally Awesome and a MF towel. It was working but SLOWLY..

I'll look into the dye

For the trim I would go with Black Wow or CQuartz Dlux.

For the paint do you have a polisher like a Porter Cable and pads? Do you have any compounds and or polishes?

Pick up a 5" backing plate and some 5.5" pads along with it. :dblthumb2:

You can then used the ultimate compund and a cutting pad the follow that up with ultimate polish and a polishing pad then allpy your choice of sealnt, wax, or coating.
