I want to remove a 2 year old coating from a car, but I don't want to overdo it. I was wondering if Megs 205 is strong enough to get through a coating using a PC on an orange pad.
I know, I know, why not just go try it? My problem is that I'm not sure how I would know whether I have actually removed the coating or not.

My backup is Megs 101 which I am sure would do it, but it is pretty strong stuff and I hate to overdo it.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

As for your main question, no idea. But as for knowing if you did, could compare beading on a surface before and after?

What coating? Should be sufficient :xyxthumbs:

clearing it to apply some paste wax? ;)

It is Simoniz Glasscoat. I guess I will try it on a panel and see. Thanks for the feedback!
