I was contacted to do some work on a few vehicles for a customer and the first one on the list was a 2004 Nissan Titan. The overall condition was very good no heavy swirls only light to moderate. The roof area had some type II water spots that required some attention. Other than that the truck was fairly easy to do. I was able to put to use the Pinnacle Black Label Wheel and Glass coatings and use 22PLE on the paint.

Exterior:

Washed with Optimum No Rise
Wheels washed with Optimum No Rinse and various brushes
Paint decontaminated with Infinite Use Detail Juice and a Speedy Prep Towe

HD Adapt with a orange Buff N Shine cutting pad via the Rupes 21
HD Polish with a red Buff N Shine finishing pad via the Rupes 21
DP Prep Polish
22PLE on the paint
Pinnacle Black Label Wheel coating on the wheels
Pinnacle Black Label Glass coating on the glass

On to the photos:

Thanks, I wish I could say that shop was mine but it was the customer garage. It was a pleasure to work in though.

Nice work Evan. I have a 2006 one in silver. How difficult was it to correct the paint?

For a Nissan the paint was on the harder side (a test spot will be the best way to determine). With the combo I used I could have just used the HD Adapt and been done but I wanted that added pop to the paint so I added the HD Polish.

I am gonna do a test between Menzerna and the Adapt/Polish combo. Just as soon as the weather stays good...LOL!

Thank you. I certainly would love to have something like this garage. It was a pleasure to work in and I have the luxury of staying and doing some more work as well.

Evan, that truck looks fantastic!
Have some questions....
I see you applied the PBL wheel and windshield products then used 22PLE for the paint.
a. How do you like the PBL products on the wheels and glass?
b. Why was the 22PLE used instead of PBL if you don't mind me asking? Just curious.
I've noticed the beading is not doing well on the roof of my Prius (PBL coating) however I do need to wash it to see if that helps it out however the glass coating is doing just fine after 1 1/2 months.

I like them a lot. the application is very and straight forward. Give the glass and wheels a nice glossy look.

b. Why was the 22PLE used instead of PBL if you don't mind me asking? Just curious.
My customer wanted the wettest looking coating I had and I feel that 22PLE offers just that.

I would check the beading after a wash and see how it is. The dirt and contamination will hinder beading and sheeting properties over time as those contaminants build up.

Additionally look at the coating booster that was just released for the PBL line. That would be a great touch to keeping the coating in great shape.
