To all,

I need some help here. When I was younger, we used a product we referred to as 'window wax'. We used it on the windows of cars we were detailing. It could also be used to 'quick wax' a car as it went on and off easy. This product was like milk in color and consistancy. Problem is, I don't know the real name of this product and I am trying to re-connect with it for personal use. Anyone know what it is or where I can find it?

Hmmm . . . you may want to try something like Klasse Sealant Glaze, which has the attributes that you mention.

I use Clearkote Quick Shine, it works great and it is milky in color. JoeD

Are you looking for something to 'wax' the glass? I use Rain-X on my vehicles during particular times of the year. It really lets the rain run off the window quick and bugs don't stick nearly as well than without Rain-X.

I remember that can well ... cannot seem to get it any longer. Great for glass, but never used on paint.

dont like it as it streaks under some rain conditions. I prefer using Quikshine, Z6, or FK 425 on glass. It beads like crazy.

Bill, shoot me a PM offline with the address of such products, I was told by the manufacturer it was discontinued some time ago when searching for it.
I still find it on Ebay from time to time.

Watch it buster ..... you could get banned for less. :p
Just remember I have almost forgotten half of what you are just about to learn, and old enough that I will likely forget the rest before my son turns 19.

I am 35 .... wife is 36 .... and our son is 16 months. We are truly a blessed family. I drive as slow as a grandma to avoid any insurance spikes. http://www.clicksmilies.com/s0105/sprachlos/speechless-smiley-013.gif http://www.clicksmilies.com/s0105/sprachlos/speechless-smiley-013.gif (well at least the ages are true)

Sounds like your life is good. Congrats on a great family, and driving slow is like the "cool" thing to do with fast cars. Insurance really is a PITA, but it is something you just have to deal with.
