View Full Version : Chrome wheels has caked on brake dust!

So I have a up coming job and there is a lot of brake dust on these chrome rims the owner said he has never washed it since he bought it!! I was going to see if Sonax wheel cleaner will do the job

Use megs wheel brightener. Work 1 wheel at a time. I've done it many times and it works great.

Can you buy it over the counter? Because I already have Sonax?

Yeah you can buy wheel brightener over the counter depends on how much youll need it but have you tried the sonax first

I used the exact same Sonax Wheel Cleaner today on my wheels with no problems...

Just my 2 cents... your sonax with a magic eraser will be much quicker and produce great results. We use that combo at my shop all the time.
