How apply glaze using PC

I recently purchased the Megs #7 glaze and I'm not sure if I'm applying it right using the PC. How do you guys apply it? I think I maybe using too much at a time.

how much did you put on the pad? what makes you think you are putting too much? i, for one, tend to have a heavy hand; but less is more in detailing.

It took forever for the glaze to haze up.
