Just ordered Ironx for embedded brake dust on alloy wheels of my Jaguar XJ8. Hopefully will get results. After application and removal of Ironx any suggestions on what to apply after...such as a good wheel wax, polish etc.?

Any of the ceramic coatings would well outlast a wax or sealant. You should also clay the wheels after the iron-x and before any protective coatings or sealants for best adherence.

+1 on ceramic coatings but if your on a budget then you will want to choose a sealant since it wont wear off as fast

+ 1 on claying the wheels before sealing/coating them. I also think you should remove the wheels from the car so you can more thoroughly clean the barrel, hub, and the back-side of the spokes.

with everyone else regarding claying...do it! For inexpensive sealant, Collinite 845 is a good choice. I've been happy with Blackfire All Metal Sealant also. A little goes a long way for both products.
