Hey everyone, newbie here but excited to join. I have used this site for a few months to gain immense knowledge regarding "all things detailing." With that being said, I need some help regarding MF towels. As of late, I have been using the GD ONRWW wash technique and have truly been pleased. The "rub" comes from my 530 Ultra Plush Terry MF towels (16 x 16, light blue, black silk banded)...I can't keep them folded. No, it isn't a hand size issue, I'm a pretty big guy. Here's the question, what towel do you recommend? Should I go with a lower GSM, medium nap like the Cobra Jr.'s (360 gsm)? The Cobra Jr. seems to be the towel included in most no rinse kits. Also, GD recommends a 300 gsm towel.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Rag company or Microfibertech are your best friends. Buy bulk orders save $$$. I prefer 500-600 gsm for rinseless washes

I second MicroFiberTech. You will never buy microfiber towels anywhere else again.

I can certainly see why.

MF Tech green 600's are awesome for one bucket rinseless. Greys are same but with silk banding instead of MF banding.

Sorry for the rookie question, but which banding is the safest? I'll go whichever direction is best.
