not really, I bought my mytee 2 8070 brand new for $600 + $50 for shipping. But the new model Mytee 8070 is $800. Not sure who is selling the older model, the retailer I bought mine from now offers the new model.

Have you thought about a steamer? If your going to spend that much in a carpet extractor you would be better off with a steamer that you can use for many other things along with the carpets for stain removal.

I thought about having both a steamer and extractor.

I thought about the Mytee but went with the Aztec instead. I've had several detailers tell me they had issues with their lites going bad on them. Something about the motor. Can anyone that has one confirm how long they've had theirs?

Consensus: $600 for a used unit is to much money.

I've searched everywhere and everyone seems to have similar pricing. Where did you get yours?

Janilink.com not sure if it was a special or not (got before Xmas) but they're still fairly priced.

I paid $300 for a used one a couple years ago, which I was told was only used a few times. Looked brand new when I got it and still works like a champ. Shipping ended up being like $85 but still a good deal.

That sounds to me like a rare find. I haven't been quite so fortunate to find a great deal.
