OPC is the safest/most effective but one of the most expensive too therefore I would use purple power cause it's so cheap, and if I have to use heavy it wont hurt as much(price wise)

Can't really say what's best and safest right at the moment:

-Does it leak fluids out...or in?
-What exactly are you wanting to do (examples: wash, degrease)?
-Which BrakeKleen do you have, and what are you planning to use it for?

I find Scrubbing Bubbles Disinfectant Bathroom Cleaner is one of the best products for engine cleaning. It's readily available at any supermarket and cheap too.

If you have nasty gunked up grease and oil, nothing beats several cans of Brake Kleen. You can try APCs until your hearts content, but BK will work pretty much touchlessly.

I <3 Brake Kleen.
