Drying Aids

Hello, Just wondering about using a drying aid. I have used Aquawax and Megs D156 with great results

but......should I be getting these products on my "good" drying towels ? Are they going to effect the drying ability of my
Guzzler Waffle Weave Drying Towels ?

Or should I just be using microfiber towels ?

I picked up some pinnacle micro rejuvenator on BOGO a while back. It seams to remove any wax that has accumulated in my drying towels.

I use D156 most of the time as well and have never seen a problem.

I don't use a Cobra guzzler, but have a handful of different drying towels--both waffle weave and longer pile.

Not having an issue while using Tide Free and clear, MicroRestore and Vinegar.

I have used Poorboy's Spray and Wipe and just use normal drying towels.

I doubt that the waxes will hurt your towels!

When I first started it was MF Waffleweave Towels only.
Then went to Leaf Blower + 1 Towel for years
Only recently did I start using a bit of detail spray as a drying aid.
Does seem to help glide the towel against the paint + absorb.

Duragloss Aquaxwax seems to be a reasonably priced spray and the finish left is great.

It can increase safety (risk of marring) even on a supposedly clean surface/ It can make it look better especially if you have problems with water spots. etc. plus add protection with the right detailers. If applying a spray wax, I would keep these separate from glass towels.

Thats how I do it :)
Leaf blower (the cheapest one you can find) a little bit of spray wax/detail spray and dry the little water remaining with a waffleweave
