Well, I've never tried a Flex 3401 - but there are videos on YouTube of guys using a Rupes with one hand and texting their girlfriends with the other hand.
I think the Rupes with their pads is as smooth as it gets.

I guess I would not want one of those guys detailing my cars.

I think the person was doing it was doing it to prove the point of how smooth the machine was. I don't think they really polish a whole car with one hand and text with the other.

I am going to be getting a Flex. Mainly just because I want it. :)
I used the Rupes to do my whole car. I'd say I corrected most of the car. The only places I was unable to correct to my liking was the spoiler and a small area on my bumper. I'm sure my PC with a 3" backing plate could get into those smaller areas. But I only had the weekend to finish up because I had to go to work. But I am very happy with the results however.

Thanks for the replies.
Does anyone else has any inputs on the subject?
