So today, I decided, after polishing and sealing my new fenders with Nanoskin Speed Cut, Formula 67, and NanoCeramic sealant, I did a quick cleanup on the rest of the car.

It has stayed fairly clean since detailing it last week, and so far I am VERY happy with all of my nanoskin products.

So on to the Shock. It came in a spray bottle that is an on/off type, and it sprays a very fine mist of liquid.

I used it with Nanoskin microfiber towels, and it cleaned very well, and finished with a very nice gloss, and pretty slick as well.

Tomorrow it is supposed to snow, so I'll be able to see if that can stick to it, but I think it is going to work very well.

I would definitely recommend this product to anyone, and will be buying it again once I run out.

I have been eyeing this product for quite some time. I never pulled the trigger since i couldn't find ANY reviews or anything.

Thanks for your thoughts!

If you have any questions about nanoskin stuff, let me know. I pretty much bought their entire product line. I could even send some samples if you wanted.

Have you tried the nanoskin windshield wiper additive? I was thinking about getting it.

Have you also tried the banana ice/hydro express? if so what are the differences you've seen between them and nanoshock?

Is this the clay lube and sealant? If so, I buy the stuff by the gallon for my "basic" wash.

I bought the shock instead of the hydro express, so I don't know what difference there is. It can be used as a clay lube as well. I use Nanoskin Glide for clay lube. I was going to buy their windshield additive, but I have a full bottle of Rain-X fluid and windshield additive so I had no need for it, but I will be trying all of their windshield products in the future.

The shock is an amazing product, on my quick jobs I'll wash, then Nanoskin with the shock, and that's it. It lasts surprisingly long also.

The hydrophobic ness of it is also awesome, my customers always ask what I used after they see the first rain on it.

Hi tersplat. You wouldn't happen to have Chemical Guys' V7 also, do you?

I've read somewhere that it's suspiciously similar to V7 (color, consistency, and scent), if not the same product relabeled.

I have Shock and have smelled v7 at chemical guys store when they opened near my house. The scent is not the same or similar, color slightly different. I also thought at one point it might be the same product until I took a closer look. Might have to try it out to see how it works and the results it gives.

Thank you very much for the response!

I would love to see a comparo between the two. The gallon price is very reasonable. If it's a good product then I wouldn't mind giving it a shot.

I haven't tried the chemical guys anything, but so far everything I've gotten from nanoskin with the exception of the original bubble bath has a pleasant smell, nothing smells like a chemical. Some of their scents are a bit off (speed cut and green apple bubble bath smell nothing like apples), but are still better than a chemical smell and are still pleasant.

I think shock is the best all around spray sealant, lube, and quick detailer. I use the heck out of it and every time I use it I have to resist wanting to drink it due to how good it smells.

^what he said. lol Their NanoCut smells like bubble gum, and formula 67 smells like Banana, they create a need for detailing munchies.

Lol, same here. It has also become my favorite spray detailer.
