Hello AutoGeek Friends. I made another video and in this one I used,

CarPro PERL,

Optimum Opti-Bond Tire Gel,

Chemical Guys Extreme VRP Dressing

and Meguiars Tire&Trim Gel.

I cleaned the tires with Meguiars Hot Rims All Wheel&Tire Cleaner before application. My Meguiar's D143 hasn't came in yet..., but one shouldn't let the little things in life stop oneself...

Instead of writing a review that you'd have to read, why not just watch the review and see the results for yourself... Im the MAN

Well I have to go jump in the shower to get ready and prepped up. I don't want my Valentine waiting.... :hotrod2:

I need to buy the little wheel caps lol. That would probably be simple if I stopped AutoGeek Shopping

Thanks for this video Art...
Quite an enjoyable format!

If I may ask:
Did you use the same buffing-cloth for all four tires?

Hope your Lady and yourself had a marvelous Valentine's Day.

Well it's barely 10:44 pm so the night is just getting started for us :)

As far as applicators I used all brand new ones that I had labeled for each individual product to avoid mixing products.

And as far as "buffing" towel I just folded it 4 ways. After doing the math, 1 towel folded 4 ways and 4 tires. I came to the conclusion that one towel should be sufficient, good thing I go to college to solve these problems life could bring me :D

I was actually thinking about you Bob while editing the video and finally uploading it. I said to myself "hope this video is long enough for Bob" :)

Nor sure why it isn't working for you PureShine? Seems to have been working for others and family and friends that I sent the link to through text. So don't know :dunno:

I am now thinking of more ideas for more because videos making these videos are really fun. :)

Nice video, Art. Always enjoy them... What made you decide to use the foam applicator for some dressings and the Carrand bristle applicator for the other two? Did you have a preference On which you prefer?

Keep them coming and happy detailing!

Danger
By The Flirts

Loving you
is like playing with Dynamite
But to stay away from you
I got to put,put up a fight
i cant seem to get you out of my mind
no matter how hard i try

(chorus)2X

Danger, danger
hes dangerous
danger straight ahead....

Your so explosive
just like TNT
Loving you is getting
the very best of me
I cant seem to get you out of my mind
no matter how hard I try

Thank You :props:

I went to my local Pep Boys to buy new applicators for the next video. I had 2 new carrand brushes but I wanted to give each dressing an equal shot so I went to go buy 2 more applicators. That's why I didn't dilute any of them and I applied 2 coats to each tire.

They had the Carrand Brushes for around $4-$6 dollars each. They then had the foam applicators pads two for $2. So I figured ehh why not.

Honestly the carrand brushes work great IMO to get into all the cracks and crevices. But the two for $2 do a good job too.

I also have the Adam's black foam applicator, but 2 for $2 is a price that's hard to beat especially when they can do just as good of a job.

I think think the prep work prior to applying the dressing is more important than the actual applicator.

The Meguiar'a Hot Wheel and Tire works a lot better than Meguiar's APC to get the tire as bare and as clean as possible, from my experience.

I showed my lady the video and she said "why do your rims look white? Did you paint them?"

I then said "my wheels weren't painted they are just really clean..."

The Meg's APC works great for cleaning one's wheels and tires, Meg's Hot Wheel and Tire works so much better though. My wheels really do look clean in the video, really bright almost whitish looking. There not though they are just really clean and I use the Meg's Ultimate Paste Wax to seal them.

Not sure about the Meg's Hot Wheels and Tire cleaner, but I believe that Meg's D143 can be diluted for regular maintenance washes.

I have my wheels and tires so clean that I am thinking APC might even be to harsh and start removing the Meg's Ultimate Wax and Tire dressings unless really diluted. A wheel brush should work really good for regular tire maintenance washes.

I'm going to try Meg's Gold Class (since it is OTC, cheap and effective and that is what I already use for wheels) a dedicate wash mitt for wheels and a dedicated soft wheel brush for regular maintenance tire washes
Maybe I'll do that instead...

I am not 100% sure but the Mother's Tire Brush while it might work really great to get one's tires really clean. I am thinking the bristles might be to aggressive and start abrading the dressings for just regular maintenance washes.

So not 100% sure just thoughts that pop in my head for breakfast, lunch, dinner. Rain, shine or snow. :buffing:

Great video. Kinda made me dizzy though. If you do a time lapse shot of your work try and keep the angle the same it helps.
