1) I wouldnt apply a sealant over a wax.

2) You'd want to prep any vehicle before applying any lsp ideally

3) UPGP is great on its own, a nice candy coated look in my opinion. It will last ou a good 3-5 months, and looks outstandking on its own. My advice, use it, see how it works and if you dont like its look then top it. But try to enjoy it first.

Be sure to use the Ultima Paint Guard Plus Prep after your paint has been properly cleaned and corrected then use the Ultima Paint Guard Plus.

Sealants are a bit different than waxes as they bond to the finish rather than sit on the surface....this is also why they tend to last longer..

Ultima Paint Guard Plus (http://www.autogeek.net/ultima-paint-guard-plus-4.html) is a nice clear sealant that goes on easily over a freshly prepped finish. The final gloss is dependent on the surface prep done prior to applying the protective coat and in this case Ultima Paint Guard Plus..

On a personal note, I've found applying a second coat to ensure complete coverage and additional protection...
