Hi guys Im still working on my garage/man cave/doghouse and I need help with lighting. I now have a basic overhead light that has 2 bulbs but I want and need more light. Can I just put some high powered bulbs up there using that same fixture? I really want bulbs that I can use for paint correction, please help with descriptions.

How big of a space? I have a 2 car with 7 lights total, and its still sometimes not enough.

A set of halogen lights that you can move around the vehicle are key to not spending too much money.

It depends on the fixture type. If its a flourescent, I don't know. I replaced mine all with 5000k bulbs, and it made a noticeable difference

It's going to be hard to get good lighting out of one fixture.
You could get some cheap plug in clamp on lights and use 65 -85 watt florescent bulbs.
As mentioned a movable light stand is another option.
