Guys, I swear that one day I'm actually going to do a Show N' Shine of some beautifully corrected garage queen, but until then you are stuck with some messes!

The owner of this car came to me asking if I could clean the interior and spruce up the exterior of a Monte Carlo he has had sitting in a barn for years so that he could resell it. He said the interior was "bad", and boy was he right.

Exterior process (no pics, nothing special to look at):
ONR Wash
Nanoskin towel
HD Speed

Interior process(yes I used gloves, mask):
Pre soaked entire interior with Megs APC+ 1:10, let dwell 20 minutes
Wiped off as much mold/dirt as possible using microfiber towels. Threw away microfibers when I was done
Vacuumed interior and used Tornador on carpets with 1:10 APC+
Steamed interior using my McCullough steamer
Dressed interior with HD Protect
DrivePur antibacterial treatment
Cleaned windows with HD Total

And the pictures!

What is that strange discoloration? It's mold!

Will the DrivePur treatment keep the mold from coming back?

It should. They were not paying for having the seats removed so there is a strong chance that there was some mold not physically removed. The Drivepur system is a fogger so hopefully it will keep the interior bacteria free. This job is definitely and outlier so no guarantees were made. :)

If I owned this vehicle there is no way I come let passengers ride in it nor come I sell it to another with any good conscience.

After cleaning and the Drivepur treatment it probably had less bacteria count than an average car. Never can be sure though with a vehicle that bad.

My post was not a slam against you at all. I just cannot see how people allow their vehicles to get like this in the first place. Was this a water damaged vehicle?
