Ever seen a collector HHR SS? - Auto Detail, Clear Bra removal and installation and CQuartz Finest

For a 1900 mile 2009 HHR SS, she was hurting. Heavy marring, cut clear coat and a very poorly installed clear bra was bringing down how it looked.

The owner has owned more than 10 HHRs and currently have 2 HHR SS's along with many other much more expensive vehicles. Despite that, he absolutely loves this car. It still has a new car smell.

With that said, he wanted the poor clear bra job removed and new clear bra installed with even more coverage than was there. He also wanted the paint to look as good as possible.

Clear bra / Paint Protection Film installation was performed on the hood, front fenders, front bumper(one of the more difficult bumpers to install on), mirrors, rocker panels, rear fenders, a-pillars and leading edge of the roof and then a strip on the rear bumper.

The paint received our Gold package paint correction and CQuartz Finest.

From afar it didn't look bad at all. But up close and with critical lighting the whole story is told.

:props: I appreciate you looking and commenting. This is one of those projects that, sure, it isn't an exotic or even a luxury car. But the car totally has a special place in the owner's heart and we put an insane amount of time into getting the rocker panels, roof and panel edges looking as good as the middle of the hood. This was as much a labor of love as it was a way to pay a bill.
