Anyone have any experience with bug deflectors? I'd like to keep the hood area clean and paint chip free, so Im considering installing one of these. The particular model Im looking at mounts via predrilled factory holes under the hood and does not actually touch the hood itself. There are several small bumpstops that stick to the hood to prevent any scratches if the deflector were to flex and touch the hood.
My main concern is potential damage caused by the bumpstop adhesive on the hood pain.

THoughts?

I've always installed bug deflectors on my p/u trucks.
Put the bump-stops on the deflector, instead of the hood.

:iagree: me too, always have used them and todays quality is very good, look for one that conforms to your hood, like this.

I installed this one for my buddy after detailing his truck, you can really hardly tell it's there.
