This is my personal vehicle that has been in the middle of an engine swap now for the better part of a year and a half. In that time the cars paint has been neglected and not even washed. Until yesterday...

Products used:
Ultimate Compound CG Orange Hex Logic Pad
Ultimate Polish CG Blue Hexlogic Pad
Ultimate Liquid Wax CG Black Hexlogic Pad

Overall I'm happy with the way it turned out with the oxidation removed. Total time about 10 hours between my brother and I with claying taking seemingly forever. There are still some scratches left that might need sanding or a more aggressive compound/pad combination.

Great work! I like these kind of show-n-shine projects.

Goes to show you how well the UC & UP works using the correct pad.
Great work.

That looks great - what engine are you putting into it? My dad had one of those but got rid of it in 1984.

Thanks guys it was our first time attempting something like this. Have spent a lot of time lurking here and gathering info and admiring the work of the members here.

Munich 77 I'm putting an LM7 in it (Iron block variant of the GM LSx engines) fell in love with the styling of the car and couldn't just junk it when the engine broke.

Big difference in the after shots! This is original single stage paint right?
