I'm obsessed with paint correction and have been doing it for a number of years. Glad to be a part of the community... Anyways I import cars from Japan and they have their own unique issues such as pollution and weird polymer sealants... here are some that I've documented (I'm usually to busy to snap pics)

A friend had just gotten back from taking a back route on a couple thousand km journey with his kids... thank god it wasn't winter, but it still had the obligatory west-coast pinstripes. Gotta love the artwork too.

Presoaked with Foam
Horsehair detail brush around all bezels
Rinsed
washed
3 Stage Polish/ The stripes were deep so first stage on black paint with wool pad. Then moved onto green to lift the swirls, and finally a soft black pad with fast gloss to get the surface level for wax.
used claybar gently on silver area to pull off contaminants then also ran 3 stage to level and wax.

Similarly... This one had a lot of sap which was tediously removed with weakened lacquer thinner (As the sap remover I had just wasn't cutting it..no pun intended) From there it was very straightforward.

Welcome to AGO.

Those vans came out nice but they are pretty funny looking. Nice work regardless.

Welcome and NICE work! I wonder why the US doesn't get vans like this?! I think it's cool! Is it fast?

Those vans looks awesome. I want one for camping, preferably 4X4. :)

Haha thanks! They are kind of weird, and have become a bit of a cult vehicle here on the west coast of Canada. Mostly what if call "rich hippies" and those tired of sinking tons of money into wesfalias. The vans themselves are turbo diesel, the first gen(black/silver) are a bit underpowered and are dreadfully slow. The second gen (blue/silver) have a larger, better designed engine, and a far better 4wd system. Sadly I prefer the look of the first gen. I'm at work right now, but I'll post some more interesting things if you guys like a little later.

I love those cars, but I kind of have a thing for "different" cars. Great work!
