Hello, I am from Puerto Rico, Greetings to all. This is my first post, my Black Jeep JK has The PROTECTOR from ECP and I'm not sure if if they polished the paint before applying the protective layer. My paint has a lot of scratches and swirl mark that does not come with the cleaner wax they recommend . Any suggestions. would appreciate your support.

You will need to remove the coating before you can polish out the defects in the paint. Then you will have to reapply the coating, sealant, or wax.

If it's a 'Coating':
It'll have to be abraded-off with an abrasive compound/polish

Why do you want to remove it?
It had to cost a pretty penny.

I found the below information to be quite interesting.

Thanks for the support and suggestions, First I'll be trying to fix the paint with a PC and MF pad, swirl remover and M205. I hope this makes the finish look better
