How do you strip WG 3.0 sealant ? How to remove it from a foam salivation pad ? I have tried every thing in the world.

I just use one pad as a designated one for sealants

The sure fire way to strip any sealant off is to give your car a light polish or with a paint cleaner.

A light polish will take it off

If you have had the WGDGPS on the vehicle for some time and are applying another sealant or coating after removing it; you should probably decontaminate with IRON X and Clay.

In my opinion, chemically stripping sealants is not effective and many of the products people use for chemically stripping can leave behind traces of the surfactants they contain. Some on the Forum have linked this to failure of Coatings. I do not like IPA wipe downs on my black paint as it is difficult for me to eliminate micro-marring from the towel, no matter how soft.

Chemical stripping can work if the LSP is at the end of it's Lifecycle and has stopped beading consistently, but in my experience the horizontal surfaces (hood, trunk lid) will fail before the vertical panels....so are you going to wait until the vertical panels fail and leave the hood unprotected...probably not

A general question about Paint Cleaners vs. Light Polish

I have Pinnacle Paint Cleansing Lotion (http://www.autogeek.net/pinpainclean.html), but have never used it.

I would never use it by hand....too slow...If I am going to get out the polisher with the objective of removing an LSP and cleaning up the paint...why not just use a light polish or an AIO like Klasse?

Light polish will remove the LSP AND improve the paint

Klasse will remove the LSP AND leave behind a protective layer

That's understandable. It's in good shape now and still beading
Well. I think when the time comes ill just give a light polish.
I did ask someone at AG and was told that pennicle paint cleaning lotion would not touch the sealant. Thank y'all so much for the helpful reply. I think polishing when it stops beading is the away to go

WG Paintwork Polish Enhancer will remove it.

It's a paint cleaner/glaze.
