So right before Christmas we went to Walmart to get a few last minute things.

While inside, the alarm on my wife's van went off and alerted us via the two way remote. I went running outside and the van hadn't been broken into but I notice that the space next to us is empty.

There was a car parked there when we pulled up. The remote said the shock sensor went off. Thats when I notice..........the hood. Someone either tried to draw something or set something down then dragged it side ways across the hood.

I was pissed!

But...it's a 2000 sienna, it's 13 years old, has a lot of swirls marks and small scracthes. It needs detailed but I just haven't gotten to it yet. It's a second vehicle but really?

People just don't care.

Oh well, at least I have my arsenal of tools to get it out. Here is the before.

I had to do 3 passes with XMT #4 and a yellow cutting pad.
One pass with XMT #3 and an orange cutting pad.
One pass with Klasse AIO and a white pad.
Then I hand applied one coat of Klasse SG.

I'll do the rest of the van later down the road. Here is the after.....

Looks darn good! Nice save. :dblthumb2:

There's a certain amount of relief when this type of damage happens to your "other" car. This is also why it's so hard for people to own something nice. Too many other people just have no respect.

Hope you don't mind but I edited your post to put some white space in-between the pictures and text.

This is the reason we kept my wife's 2000 CR-V. People can be real skunks with a total lack of respect for other's property.
Getting back to your work, great job. I just deconed/detailed our CR-V recently...still giving it love.
