I did an 07 CLS550 in white this past summer. It was a one step detail and i used Sonax Perfect Finish (4/6) on a mix of orange pad and Cyan (rough blue). Sonax PF finished off nicely with no dusting what-so-ever.

Check out my FaceBook page and you can find some pics of it in there.

Hope this helps!

If you have these products above you will be fine I have used FG400 as a 1 step on a lot of Mercedes with great results. Just do a test spot with the least aggressive first and work up till you get the results you want.

I noticed that fg400 can be one step correction...I tried fg400 and mf cutting pad with pc ... but it needed little more to finish off...I may try rotary on it.
Thanks for the input everybody :)

Yes 1 step. That is what the Sonax PF was made for.

Slightly Bent and I did his 2010 E 550 Saturday.

He is posting a Show & Shine soon.

We used a Griot's and a FLEX 3401 with orange CCS pad and Wolfgang Uber Compound, followed by white CCS pad with Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover.
