Hey all,

Can xmt 360 be used with an orange lc pad? I would like to remove the remaining swirls and scratches from my car, but the white lc pad does not seem to remove them. Any special tricks to xmt 360 performance? Thanks for you help!

Try the orange pad. I use this combo all the time just make sure your working the polish till it breaks down and is almost completly gone. Smear on speed 3 and work it on 5.5 - 6.

It can be used with any pad. Ive used it with Edge blue, green, and orange. Key is to go slow and keep the pad level. I also find I get better results if the pad is spinning. Combine the 3 and youll only need 1 or 2 passes with it and itll correct and disappear. I work it on speed 5 99% of the time.

It depends on what kind of defect removal your aiming for really. If you just want to lightly polish the car, use a white pad, if your going for defect removal aswell, use an Orange pad.

I too use the yellow EDGE2K pad with 360. Finishes off nice.

360 will finish off nice no matter what pad you use.
