I would like to try waterless washes is it safe for the paint? How do I go it? What are the products I need? And how does it work on the wheels and tires?

Also in my experience, the more microfiber towels you have available the better! Washing few more towels is much easier than having to polish out any potential marring from trying to use a dirty towel to its full extent.

I'd also add to make sure those towels are the really plush ones. I've found the Gold Plush Jr towels sold here to work very well.

+1 to plenty of towels. I use a lot, but I don't get any marring! I love waterless washing. When it's just knocking dust and moderate dirt off of the car, it's great. Anything heavier, I just hit it with the coin-op first.

That's what I've been doing this winter. I'll run the car through a touchless wash to get the grit and salt off and then follow up with a waterless wash in the garage once I get home.

Mike has posted a good writings on waterless wash.

And yup, generally... Do not save on your towels, the more the better. You can always dump all into one load to wash, while it really takes time to polish your car to defect free again.
