I saw it at walmart the other day and although I'm sure it's a great product....It's way to glossy looking for my taste.

Uuuuwwww. I want some. I'll be looking for it over at my local Walmart too :)

Probably could be topped too for my weekly washes.

I have a lot of pictures showing the prep work and application but no time to process the pictures and post them...

Take a look at the tires here,

I tested the finish a couple of times and it left no residue on my finger after touching the tire.

A softer feel to it than Tuf Shine Tire Clearcoat but application was EASY!

I sprayed two even coats.

Can it be sprayed on an applicator then applied? I hate aerosol overspray.

I read that you could spray it on an applicator on the Meguiars forum. However, I have no experience with it myself. I would love to see what the durability really is.

I read that too and it was done that way over at Meguiar's to avoid overspray. :dunno:

Seems like a good idea, however.

If durability is only a month it seems like it would be more cost efficient to buy tuf shine.

i tried the turtlewax version of this stuff. its excellent, really shiny, holds up in the rain but you absolutely must be a straight shot when spraying this stuff. it dries fast and it's a pain to get off the wheel and if the wind sneaks up and goes on the paint thats a real pain. other than that, its great stuff. i use it once/yr it lasts a really really long time. its like a clear coat for your tire.

I'm sure Tuf Shine is much more superior to the Meg's Coating but if your into high shining tires then Meg's Tire Coating may be the way to go.

For now I'm very happy with my Meg's Hyper Dressing.
I tried it without dilution and man what an amazing shine it gave me.
If you want less shine you can dilute it 4-1 which would give you five gallons:)
The gallon size will last me months and months being a very small amount goes along way.

No it doesn't last long but I don't mine dressing my tires each time I clean them.
Love that just dressed tire look. :dblthumb2:

This stuff is decent in the beginning, however after a week or so its bad news. hard to get off. And if you accidentally get overspray on anything its a nightmare.

I can't speak for overspray, because after each application of the tire i wipe down the entire vehicle with detail spray.

However i applied this coating 3 weeks ago, and it has been raining on and off the past 2 weeks. And the coating is pretty much gone on my tires.

I applied the coating on other tires in the past, using APC or another tire cleaner will remove the meguiar coating.

If its anything like the turtle wax one no. Assuming it is like the turtle wax one which id put money on it that it is its basically a can of clear coat spray paint.

Also i cant give my opinion on this particular one but the turtle wax version was junk imo. Worst product ive ever used. I sprayed it in my garage and over spray was all over my car and windows. For the windows i had to used a razor blade and vinegar to remove it. For the paint i just had to wait. Also after a few weeks it got this rainbow effect going on kinda like oil on water.
