Are there any disadvantages to having body work or paint work done in the winter time? A truck tire tread flew across my bumper, hood and windshield.
Thanks,

I have had repairs done without any problems to the actual work. However, it can be difficult to see if they did good work.

I found several defects in my hood and fender last summer that I just couldn't see with the low winter sun or in my garage.

It really depends on how warm the shop is to cure the primer, sealer, and paint. If they have a baking Booth, there really shouldn't be any issues with shrink, or dieback.

If they do have those issues, they would be apparent pretty shortly after the repairs are made, and they should correct it before delivery.

No problem at all.

Before anything is done the car is brought inside and warms up quick.

Sounds like you will be getting new parts too so its a breeze.
