The Little Yeller Feller - 2000 Lotus Esprit V8 (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/ask-expert-featuring-mike-phillips/75061-little-yeller-feller-2000-lotus-esprit-v8.html)

I might get a little time to post the process pictures for this project but top priority is I'm using the this car and the pictures we took for my Power Point Presentation for my class on how to use the rotary buffer and my class on how to use Porter Cable 7424 to create a show car finish at Mobil Tech Expo this Thursday.

The horizontal panels on this car were done using a 3 step rotary process.

The vertical panels on this car were done using a 2-step dual action polisher process and the dual action polisher was the Porter Cable.

The only other tire coating that I've used that DRIES to the touch is the TUF Shine Tire Clearcoat and if you read any of my car detailing projects for the last year you'll see I've been for the most part using TUF Shine Clearcoat on my personal cars and every car I detail.

I don't like greasy tire dressings and I like doing a great job ONCE and then forgetting about the tires except for touch-ups so I really like TUF Shine Tire Clearcoat.

That said, I like the aresol application. As for the rest of the benefits and features as compared to TUF Shine, I'll have to strip my tires down to bare rubber and do a side by side test.

You'll find some good info in this thread...

How to Clean & Coat the INSIDE of your car's wheels (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/ask-expert-featuring-mike-phillips/69426-how-clean-coat-inside-your-car-s-wheels.html)

Here's a review I did on TUF Shine...

Review: TUF SHINE Tire Appearance Kit (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/ask-expert-featuring-mike-phillips/62678-review-tuf-shine-tire-appearance-kit.html)

The results are a very nice dry, dark sheen...

Now it's time for the White Glove Test...

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/data/1813/Tuf_Shine_Review_014.jpg

Dry to the touch and dust and dirt are going to either wipe right off or rinse off with water or water and a little normal car wash soap.

The finished look is clean and neat...

I like a shiny finish on my tires.......... not mirror like, but, glossier than satin or flat black.... But, I've got 3 different tire cleaners/protectants to use before I add any more tire/wheel products.
Maybe next year :)
