The beading on my car that had opti-coat applied in June isn't that great so I was hoping that claying it would improve the beading but I don't want to strip/degrade the coating in anyway, was wondering if claying is OK.
Also, anyone apply the CarPro Hydro2 onto of opti coat?

Clay will not harm the coating and is actually recommended as part of proper coating maintenance.
Also, hydro2 will work great on OC.

It will degrade it on a microscopic level but in the big picture, no problem. Although ironX and tar remover is a better choice.

i would start first by doing a proper cleaning/decon.
try iron x as suggested, or iron x snow foam or p21s TAW. you'll be surprised that a good deacon will be all you may need before breaking out the clay.
