Hello Autogeek community, Jordan from the DC metropolitan area. Always watched the AG youtube channel so finally decided to create an account. Always been into cars and decided to really get into personally detailing my own car.

I thought you were chiming in from my local DMV. I thought no wonder it takes 3 hours to renew my license. They're surfing the AG forum !!

Welcome!

Thanks for the welcomes everyone. I do drive the A3 and my brother has the A4. Actually received some gift cards so I'll be looking into a DA polisher. Any recommendations for a quality and fairly priced model?

Welcome! As far as good DA's go, people tend to like the griots garage 6 for starting out before more advanced ones there is the Rupes and Flex 3401. Also beautiful A3, my friend has one just like that and he really likes it.

The GG6 is more cost effective and if you're just doing your own cars, then that's the way I'd go. If you create a new thread "detailing" what you will be working on, you're budget, experience, etc. you'll receive great feedback from more of the forum than asking within an introduction thread.
