First time with a dual action polisher too, my GG6.

First a wash with Optimum wash and sprays of OPC 3:1 and the safe scrub.

Then a nanoskin medium "claying".

Followed by the sanding, started with grit of 500, followed by 800, 1000, 1500, and 3000.

Then Hyper compound on Opt compound microfiber pad, then Hyper polish on Opt polish microfiber pad.

The GG was very hard to control at first, but got easier as it got cleaner.

Also, the Meguiars unigrit 3" backing plate, the screw on the inside completely stripped off and fell off, I was really surprised... don't know what I could have done wrong. Thankfully I had the 3" lake country I used to finish.

Anyhow, the right, rather, driver side lens still isnt as clear as the other side. Is there anything you guys recommend? I didn't seal it yet. It is also the picture that makes it look different, but either way still not as clear as other.

Nice job!

You should think about getthing something to seal it with like Opti-Lens. The coating they offer has a UV protection in it that will keep the light from fading.

Yea that is what I used actually. I didn't mention because I wasn't sure if I was done. I went out later and was satisfied and sealed them. Thank you!
