Methods of cleaning buffing pads while in use.

Hey guys,

How do you guys clean buffing pads while polishing?

For foam pads I use a microfiber towel and run the towel with pressure on the pad with the polisher turned on.

Just curious on how you guys clean microfiber cutting/polish pads.

I have always only ever had foam pads and cleaned them on the fly with a terry towel (as per Mike Phillips' videos).

I did recently purchase some MF cutting pads and had rented a compressor to blow out the pads, which worked extremely well. I also tested this method on the foam pads I used and it is a lot more effective than the terry towel method.

I subsequently purchased a small 6 gallon compressor (I am on a tight budget) last night, and it will be used solely for blowing out all my pads during a detail.
