I just used the Flex and Wolfgang Uber Compound with a follow up with Wolfgang Finishing Glaze on the granite counter tops in our master bath to remove 15 years of hair spray build up. Came out great.

"See honey, all this stuff is useful" lol

This is great! My grandmother and I were talking about polishing her granite just this week.

Before and after shots or it didnt happen =P

Just kidding. It's always nice finding dual use ideas to justify our purchases to the lady.

What pad did you use?

Uber Compound - Orange Pad

Finishing Glaze - Red Pad (prob should have used a black or even a white pad but it worked out ok).

I knew I wasn't going to mess it up since granite is hard as a rock lol.

Told mine to grab a pad and some compound and head for the shower. Not granite, solid surface stuff, (synthetic marble I think) with a fiberglass 34"x60" floor. So far she's not hearing what I'm saying. Must be her hearing aid acting up.

I wish I had taken some. The biggest difference was in my daughters culture marble countertop. All I used on it was an orange pad and uber compound. It did not remove the very deep scratches she has here and there but overall the wife says awesome lol.

Kudos!! on performing a marital-action that displays a different form of loving and caring that,
in the end, is appreciated by both the Wife and her Husband. :dblthumb2:

Happy Wife = Happy Life: I must protest the overall validity of this "old wives tale"! :D

I've discovered that it creates a hardship to live with a person who will always demand more, and more...
and never fully appreciate what is freely given to them.

These people, IMHO, will rarely ever be happy. They are like empty buckets that can never be filled.
Their spouse:
-Can attempt to let them "figure it out" for themselves.
-Or kick that bucket on down the road.

During one phase of my Life: I chose the latter.

You win with a better looking countertop and you win with justifying those AG purchases. Good all around.
