Hi, I'm new to the forum and just wanted to start doing some work to my car. I am thinking about purchasing my first polisher and plan on working to better my skills as I've never buffed or did anything other than wash my car and put performance parts. I hope to learn more and more as the time goes on by practicing on my own car which is daily driven.
Nice to meet all of you!

I've looked into some and I'm leaning towards the GG. Thank you.

I have the GG and it is an excellent tool. Be sure and get some 5.5 pads and the 5" backing plate.

Yes, I just read Mike Phillips thread about that, so it's in my list to buy. I have a lot of reading to do in order to get a good set together. I'd rather have a good starting point the first time I get a hands on experience. It's this forum that motivated me to clay my car a couple days ago.
