Black car wax vs regular carnauba

hello, new here. Im wondering if anyone has any first hand experience using the special wax made for black and dark cars, and how it stacks up against regular carnauba wax from a reputable company. Im assuming checmial guys blakc wax is better than meguires black wax as well?

Blackfire Black Ice is awesome! IMHO the best out there, no staining or dyeing. Just wax perfection. This is Black Ice on my GC and a Passat I did a couple weeks ago. It was on sale yesterday, bummer. You should have been here yesterday :D

Yeah Black Ice is some good stuff, and a little goes a long way, it's easy to apply and super easy to remove. Wait and see if it goes on sale again during the 12 days of Christmas sales. Most likely it will.

Another vote for black ice. Black ice on top of bfwd and a final wipe down with bf polymer spray is a killer shine!!!! You will create whiplash as they say!

Yes I have:
Black Ice 1st two pics/ 3rd pic Fuzion / The Black Ice creates more wet looking finish on black paint. Both are great but Black Ice all the way on a black car.

Both pictures of your car look great. I have Fuzion but I may try the Black Ice Sealant Wax in the spring. I live up north so my Porsche is in the garage for the winter once it starts to snow. Thanks again for the pics and info.

They are both great products, I just see in person that the Black Ice makes the black paint look deeper and wetter. What I like is it also doesn't stain microfibers or leave black dyes on them like most of the other products out there (CG?) I used blue mf towels and they had no staining after removal.

OK...Which "shade" of the Blacks, Dark Blues, Dark Reds, etc. have these waxes been formulated for?

A special wax for Black/Dark vehicles:
It mostly consists of whatever Marketing Hype that can be transferred/translated into product sales...IMHO.

BTW:
Meguiar's Black Wax is an AIO...and it's not for Black, or other Dark colors, only.
Knowing this:
Why would you assume Chemical Guys Black wax is better than Meguiar's Black Wax?

Blackfire Black Ice has been formulated with several waxes...including Carnauba and Montan.
But so has many other waxes from many other "brands".

-Black car wax is often just like a carnauba wax...in that:
They've been "adjusted" with a few chemicals; and fancy, smancy buzz words.


-During my lifetime I've hardly ever seen any paint "sealer" that has the ability
to create the WOW!!-factor like that of a true carnauba finishing wax.

Waiting for the guy to chime in and say "the wax doesn't know what color the paint is". Like the wall doesn't know what color the paint is? Does any inanimate object know anything? Does that mean nothing can affect the look of anything else because wax lacks a brain and a nervous system?
