Glass scratch - 2.5 x 0.5" what to use?

On a newly acquired car (new to me) I have a driver's side scratch which is about 2.5 x 0.5" in size. It's a very weird scratch almost like a thick blade was run into the glass.

Is there a way to polish this out? Putting my finger on it feels like a matte textured section where the scratch is.
