Cleaning Wool Pads

I've seen the threads and the articles by Mike on how to clean foam pads, but how should I clean a wool pad, without having a pads cleaner?

Spray APC in them, wash them under water, spin them dry on RB, use pad spur to revive fibres.

What kind of wool pad? A wool cutting pad for a rotary can be cleaned with a wool pad spur no soap washing required.
