For those of you who may not have heard, actor Paul Walker died today in a car crash in SoCal. He is best known for playing the character of Brian O' Connor in the Fast & Furious franchise.

I know as someone who's only 17, I've always kinda admired him. He got to play a character that always won races, and went about it with a cool factor. Sure it never showed the dangers, but it created a perfect fantasy for most of us.
My prayers go out to his family and those close to him.

He had a Steve McQueen (driving the Mustang in Bullitt) coolness about him, this is a sad sad loss & probably the end of the franchise. Apparently, they are currently shooting the next Fast & Furious movie right now.
Just read on msnbc that he was a passenger in the Porsche driven by a friend when it crashed & burned. Both died at the scene.

It was a Porsche Carrera GT. A very difficult car to drive from what I hear. The driver lost control and hit a tree.
RIP Paul Walker.

RIP, as the op stated, being 18 now, he was always someone I loved watching race cars from age 6 and on. Gone way too soon
