I'm trying to look for a cheaper compound that can be used on a DA ( Rupes / PC ) paired with MF pads. M100 was basically designed for rotary but have read it could be used on DA's as well. Would like to get feedback if M100 is close to the cutting ability of either WG Uber / M101 / FG500 which basically 2x the cost.

Cheap= Meguiar's Ultimate Compound

Or why not the product designed for use with the Microfiber pads you have?

I have used M100 with a Rupes and microfiber discs many times and I have achieved good results.
I'll admit I get a better cut and finish with the two drops of M101 and two drops of D300 combo.
The reason for the 2+2 combo is M100 can dust. +D300 stops M100 dusting keeping a great cut.
Did I mention the D300 is less expensive than M101? This reduces the M101 consumption in half.
As has been said before..."it all depends on the paint". * It's good to have them all on the shelf.
Also as stated before...Use the least aggressive & hopefully the least expensive method first.

Another vote for Ultimate Compound.
It works well, I've used it many times with great success.
If the car I'm working on is really bad I'll use 105.
Just recieved my WG Über Compound , not cheap, hope it saves me time.

Back to UC, I always first do my test area using UC, again it's cheap and really user friendly.
