I just wanted to post some work I recently did for a family member. Car was salvaged and repainted by amateur years ago so some sections where spider webbing, cracking, and damaged beyond buffing capability.

Also, I'm not used to documenting my work so bear with me. Some before pictures don't gauge the paints condition but I took before/after close up shots to show you guys how really swirled and damaged it was! After pictures where taken next day at cousins house since I started this car late and it was around 10PM when I finished so couldn't get sun shots.

Products used:
-2 Wash bucket method w/ grit guard
-Chemical Guys Citrus Wash & Clear w/ foam lance
-Megs APC
-Simple Green w/Gilmour foam gun(don't use often but road grime on wheel wells was overwhelming)
-Porter Cable 7424xp
-Lake Country 3"+ 6.5" pads ranging from orange to white and even red for wax application
-Menzerna Po85rd
-M21 sealant
-Nattys Blue
-Meguires Endurance High Gloss tire gel (customers preference)
-Various brushes
-Mothers Back to Black for exterior trim
-Detailing Q tips
-Folex fabric cleaner
-ZEP Ammonia free glass cleaner
... Definitely forgetting some stuff but think thats about it.

Check out the severe crows feet/spiderwebbing of the paint!!!

COMPARISON here you can see how dull and swirled the paint really was, with gloss and depth restored after but poor condition of the paint showing through:

Total time spent was about 8.5 Hours since it was mainly an exterior job with minimal interior work.

Thanks for looking.:p

really nice job, I love working on cars like this where it looks so bad , but customers and friends love the work in so little time

Yeah it was sort of a wedding present for my now cousin. He's had the car since high school and never not once waxed or detailed it! Needless to say, aside from the clear coat fracturing, the gloss on this car was beautiful!
