I recently purchased a chemical guys foam gun and I have been loving every minute with it, however, I would like to know what is a good wash to use with it. I want something that does not strip wax and has good dwell time. I like gold class and the meguiars classic , but gold class is not so great in a foam gun for some reason. I was thinking these

maxi suds 2 -chemical guys
optimum wash-chemical guys
meguiars shampoo plus

Any thoughts and help would be appreciated

I tried several, Honeydew is the best foaming. There are "stronger" ones, but most have to shipped from overseas.

I like Megs super soap. Its cheap too! Honeydew is nice but a bit more $$. I hear MR. PINK is great and Maxi suds as well. There are 4 choices 3 from the same company.

I look at honeydew as more of a maintenance wash. What about maxi suds or meguiars, for example, I need a non wax strip wash that is good for soiled cars

... Isn't a maintenance wash what you were asking for? Something that doesn't strip wax and is perfect for routine maintenance.

From Chemical Guys Site:
"Why Buy This Product?
Superior surface cleanser
Advanced foaming technology
Perfect for weekly maintenance
Safe for wax and sealant
Perfect for two bucket wash or foam cannon
Rinses clean with no residue
Removes grime, build up and dirt
Also available in gallon size"

I want something that cannot strip wax, but can take off road film and dirt, for chemical guys I have narrowed it down to
maxi suds 2 -price point is good ,good suds
HoneyDew-expensive, but might be the better option
Meguiars pro soap line-economical, looks like its good
