Hi Everybody. I'm thinking about to buy a pain coating with holiday discussant-is 30ml enough for mid size SUV like Acura MDX? or i should buy 50ml?

Are you going with the Cquartz?

If so then the 30mL is plenty and I would recommend you look at the UK version of the Cquartz along with Reload. With the UK version the curing time is 24 hours instead of the 48 hours that the regular CQuartz needs. The UK version also works better with cooler temperatures as well.

EDIT:
Make sure you have CarPro Eraser to do a wipe down of each panel prior to application to ensure proper bonding of the coating to the paint.

I don't know which coating you're looking at but it takes me roughly 10CC of Opti-Coat to do a 4 door Dodge Ram pickup with an 8 foot bed. I tend to use more than recommended as to get through the job faster and ensure a better coverage so regardless of your coating of choice, I'd think 30ml would be more than enough.

I did a Honda Ridgeline and did 2 layers. It took over 50ml to do the 2 layers. So I would recommend the 50ml kit to you.

If you go the Gtechniq route get 50ml of the C1 and 30ml of EXO. Also get about ten additional applicator pads as they will fall on the floor or you can get a micro fiber cloth (the eyeglass cleaning type) and cut up. Just one warning with EXO, do not go through any type of automatic car wash because if they use a high alkaline solution it will easily remove EXO. I had this happen unknowingly in a rush/crunch through a touchless basic wash.

With that said EXO is amazing. It leaves the paint feeling lush/supple unlike any other sealant (C1 is a coating, EXO is a sealant). Mirror like reflections. EXO does a great job repelling dirt/dust keeping your paint clean as well.

not to go to far off topic to Mikas post. However my coating question is, does having a coating on your car keep it cleaner for longer periods of time. Then say a sealant?

Yes. Any coating worth a darn will have very good self cleaning properties. This means that a simple high pressure rinse with water will allow a majority of dirt and road film to be removed without any soaps or cleaners.
