View Full Version : Freshly painted car. Fixing pinholes in surface?
Just had an experienced painter paint a car for me. Looks great but when I look up close to it, there are like pinholes on the surface. I sanded with 1500, 2000, and 3000 but they're still there. I tried to take a pic but they don't show in the pic. Should I keep sanding until they're sanded out?

I would have the painter redo it...

Its likely solvent pop. Only fix is a repaint.

This sucks. I began polishing the hood of my 2000 Integra the other day and was wondering why my hood was covered in pinholes. Starting to realize that its most likely solvent pop.
