Vehicle: 2010 Mercedes Benz C300

Defects: Swirls all over vehicle, water spot etching, tree sap, bird droppings.

Plan of attack: This vehicle belonged to a good friend of ours. She had never serviced a detail and the car has never seen a proper wash. At the very least, we got her to wash the vehicle through a touch free tunnel wash. We decided on a complete decon and one step attempt to get it looking a little better.

LSP:
BlackFire Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection

Final thoughts: This paint hardness was on the moderate side, not too soft, not too hard. About 6 section passes with the Rupes/MF/WGUC3.0 and it cut/finished to where I liked it. The white paint appeared "whiter" and much warmer after the final protection. Still can't believe how contaminated the vehicle was for being only 3 years old. Total time spent was about 14 hours.

Started with the wheels.

Wish I had some sun shots to show the hard work. Will update thread when I follow up with a maintenance wash. In the mean time, here are some pics of it in the evening.

Thanks Chris. It sure does. I like using it. Don't really care if people think it's hype or not. The smell is bad but I can live with it stinking up for a few hours.

Sure did. Uber is very good stuff. I enjoy working with it. Thanks Mike!

Is that a chemical sprayer that you had in that Iron X jug? Did that come with or did you buy it. I think it would be great to have even spray like that for other products

I can probably answer that for him. Normally those chemical sprayers come with the sprayer, at least all the ones I've seen at home improvement and farm supply stores. They are also very handy for spraying down wheel wells with all purpose cleaner.

Nice work man, you don't need sun to show your work, I know how good the Über compound works:dblthumb2:

Your steps you chose seems to be top notch.

Question.

What are your thoughts using the Über along with a MF pad.
Reason I ask is I use a foam pad with the Über , would I benefit buying MF pads?
I have some 6.5 inch MF pads but I now use the 5.5 inch pads.

I have a 2010 and an 09' Benz coming up.

Again, fantastic job you did with this car:dblthumb2:
