Hey guyz, I promised some detail pics of the show truck I had posted a while back. This was no easy detail, the truck was still being worked on and most of it was above my head. Still I managed and it came out pretty good. I only did the paint, cause the truck wasn't finished till the next day. I don't have pics of the finished truck, but I will have them soon.

Process:

Since the truck was still new I figured I'd use a light combo, but boy as I fooled, as soon as I put some light on it all the scratches and scuffs came out, which was somewhat understandable being that its been in a shop for the last few months and people touched on a daily basis. I managed to get about 90% out.

I started with OPT. Polish and green edge pad, then followed with OPT. Polish, which is my new favorite line of polish, and a orange edge pad, which worked out great till my green edge pad fell apart and I managed to make a blue edge pad explode while attempting to use it as the final polish, that why I wound up using the orange pad. I seem to have a problem with that, luckly I was able to finish it with the orange pad, took a little longer, but it came out perfect. I sealed it with WG and topped it with Pinn. Soveran, amazing. It looked good sitting on the rack, hope it looked good at the show. Here are the pictures.

The blue tape on the fenders is the line were the fenders had to be cut for the fender flares, kinda sad to have to cut a brand new truck, but it will look good when its done.

Here is a teaser pics of what it might look like when its finally done. 17" air ride lift and 54" TSL Boggers on 20" Jesse James rims.

I think with a few more inches of lift I could throw those 54's on my truck.

I say go for it, I think each tire cost a little under $1,000 and the lift was somewhere in the $30,000 range no lie its expensive.

I figure that I'll have to use some type of foam, I actually left it up to the guy who ownes it to dress the tires, it would cost me a fortune to dress them.
