What do you guys think about the first link with Jay Leno?

If you google "Optima steamer" you will get the company website. I can pm you the link if you like. If I recall correctly that steamer in the Leno video is somewhere in the range of 5-7k. I havent used steam on an entire exterior but it seems they would work best on upkeep vehicles. On every demonstration video I have watched, I never see really dirt exterior vehicles. I dont know how I feel about steaming the exterior. When wiping away arent you somewhat dragging dirt across the paint?

The steamer that Superior Shine is using is the Vapor systems VX5000. Renny Doyle & Larry@Ammo all swear by this steamer. A lot of the forum members like it as well. Many members I noticed like the Dupray Tosca as well. Which looks similar to the model I own the Daimer 300CS.

I have the Daimer 300CS for a few months now. I really like it. All stainless steel and the attachments are great.

If you are looking into the Vapamore, I would look into the Mytee Firebird. They seem identical. Only downside is no triangle attachment which is useful throughout a detail.

Thank you 04Golf mind sending me a link to the Daimer.

The VX5000 is out of my price range. I more around the Vapamore Primo Mytee Firebird

The Vapamore Primo says it has a lifetime warranty, do you guys know if the Mytee Firebird is lifetime warranty?

Thank Again

If the VX5000 is out of your range the 300CS would be as well.

Mytee firebird looks like a nice steamer. I have watched a few videos done some research on the Mytee. Even though the outside is plastic the boiler is stainless steel. It heats up to 350 degrees and provides 50psi. Like I said before the only down side is no triangle attachment but it has several others to get the job done. I dont know why they didn't make a triangle one since it seems like the standard attachment among steam cleaners. Vapamore doesn't have the attachment as well. I don't think Mytee has lifetime warranty on parts but they do on housing. I have dealt with Mytee customer service and they have been great to deal with so far. I have no experience with Vapamore's customer service or any info on that company.

If the VX5000 is out of your range, forget the Daimer! They really are overpriced anyways!

On a budget to start, it's hard to beat the McCulloch. At the top of the range is the ThermaKleen.

Yeah the Mytee Firebird looks like it will be my choice. It'll be nice not having to use APC to wipe down dashboards all the time.

And it seems like the Mytee steamer will be able to handle a lot more things.

Thanks Again,

Art

VX5000 is a great starter and quite versatile. Extractors can only be used on upholstery/carpet.

I use the wagner for interior cleaning, windows and pre step on leather and it works awesome and it's only 100. I did recently pick up a Bissel for deeper carpet cleaning though.

What do you guys think will be the difference between the Wagner Steamer vs the Mytee Firebird?
