Duragloss #105 w/PBA

Are most people using Duragloss #105 with or with out Duragloss Polish Bonding
Agent (PBA)? What's your experience....

I sue it without and it seems to bond just fine and last a long time, and probably the best thing for white I've used so far.

I used PBA to clean up the leftover of 476S, and to get a fresh surface for #105. This will maximaze durability of #105.

From everything I've read if you are using something along the lines of DG#101 the PBA shouldn't be needed. If you have the extra time I'd go with it regardless, can't hurt.

Yes 101 can be used in place of the PBA. I personally think the 101 adds a lot more shine and provides a cleaner surface than the PBA. From what I have read the PBA was designed to be used with the blue 111 which is a pure sealant. I think the 105 by itself would be fine on any clean surface, if you have the extra few minutes and the 101 I think you will see it is well worth it.

Agreed, I didn't have any #101, and figured #601 would be my best bet in that case.

only time I use the PBA is when I do the winter coat...that way I have a harder shell since winter time I go thru more harsh elements and salt...but summer time I just use 101 and then 105 over it....

The PBA does give it a different look...seems more gloss to it.....and does seem slicker after cured....they even said it is not really needed if paint is polished....but in another breathe they say it does help in giving it a harder shell...it is a cleaner catylst product...it cleans the surface and the residue reacts with the sealant....

but it does seem to work for the winter....the 105 lasted thru the winter no problems....

Never tried #101.

You can use any of these first, Klasse AIO, XMT360 or DG#101. Any one of these can be the base. Then use DG #105 with no bounding problems. I know, because I have used them that way..You can do #601 after the base if you want too.
