Ouch. That sucks. At least the damage comes in at only $900 bucks though. On a VW I would have thought the damage would be much much more expensive than that.

the funny thing is that i got the right side axle, control arm and tie rod for $175 haha...and the shop wanted $900 talk about labor and marking up the parts. the only other things i need now is a right side fender, right side passenger seat, front bumper valance and a new wheel hahaha im gonna visit the junk yard some time this week.

That's going to take a little more than color sanding to fix. That front piece is going to need to be repainted. May be able to polish out the white marks with something simple like ScratchX, but the gouges in the paint will still be there. That black spot on the corner is void of any paint at all, so it is definitely an area that will need to be resprayed.

Looks like you need a new hood or atleast some body work on the hood. 900 dollars to fix all the above damage doesn't seem that unreasonable to me.

Im thinking the dealer is reasonable, let him fix it and get a warranty that its done right the first time !

$900 sounds like a bargain. How come you need to replace the seat? Did you make #2 in it?

nah $900 is a rip off. they wanted $900 just for replacing the control arm, tie rod, and right axle. i got all the parts for $175. no body work included. im planning on re-painting the bumper, hood and getting a new fender. as for the seat the passenger side air bag deployed thats why i need a new one. and also a new seat belt haha.
